In late 2018 Acorus were instructed to sell a three bedroom agricultural detached bungalow formerly associated with a family farming mixed livestock and horticultural enterprise in Lincolnshire.
The dwelling was a second dwelling with permission granted in the early 1980s to make way for the next generation to occupy the main farmhouse. The farming enterprise ceased trading and original farmhouse and land and buildings were sold off separately but the bungalow was retained as the retired occupants of seven years had no wish to move out.
As time passed it was necessary for the occupants to consider alternative accommodation to better suit their needs.
An extensive marketing campaign was undertaken to try and sell the dwelling but no compliant buyer in the locality was identified. An application was submitted to the Local Authority to remove the condition, which was subsequently granted.
The permission now enables the occupants to sell the property to a wider audience and look for suitable alternative accommodation.
