News For Our Offices

The South Eastern Office have just won an appeal in the Green Belt near to Slough.

The appeal was against the refusal to grant planning permission for the change of use of an old glasshouse for car sales.

The use had started and glass had been painted so it was argued that the carts were not visible and the use was appropriate in the Green Belt as it involved a Change of Use of a Building so was within one of the categories outlined in the National Planning Policy Framework.

The Planning Inspector did not accept that there would be a problem with traffic which would be modest and there was a loss in horticultural traffic. Conditions were deemed appropriate and included not allowing outside display of cars.
